Feldenkrais is not a โ€œno pain, no gainโ€ method. In class aim for comfort and ease in your movements. Modify instructions to that end. Or do less and rest more. Reduce the range. If a particular movement is not possible without discomfort there is still great benefit to be had by rehearsing it in your imagination — without physically moving.

Clearly there may be times in life where we may want to do something that will hurt but learning takes place best when you are feeling comfortable, safe and relaxed — not if you are twitching and expecting pain. Take care of yourself and look for the ease in your movement.
